ACS Hillingdon CHOICE Jr Board will be selling these cookbooks in the spring to continue to raise funds for CHOICE Humanitarian.
In addition, all students are invited to enter the cover design competition. Eight designs will be selected for the cookbook (for the cover and section dividers) and can be done on paper or digitally. All designs need to be turned into Diane at reception or through firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, 10 January. All winners will be announced by Wednesday, 15 January.
Thank You from the CHOICE Jr Board
The ACS Hillingdon CHOICE Jr Board had a wonderfully successful fundraiser preparing for the holidays and we would like to personally thank the school community for all their help. Students raised almost £250 for CHOICE Humanitarian through their designs, which they will see on their own cards, wrapping paper, and gifts soon. Thank you for helping CHOICE Humanitarian as they help lift remote villages around the world out of extreme poverty!!
On Wednesday, 20 November, PSO Hillingdon and Parent Volunteers bring International Food Day to our school.
This is a wonderful opportunity to bring our school community together to share local foods from our schools diverse families. Parents cook their favourite dishes from their regions to share with all the students and staff.
In order to make it a success, we need volunteers to help us set up & assist with running the event on the day from 8:30am - 3pm.
Please support our CHOICE Jr Board. They are excited to announce their first fundraiser of the year for CHOICE Humanitarian (our PSO sponsored charity).
Your child creates their own design (on IQ Cards' specialty paper) and you get to order these designs on greeting cards, postcards, gift wrap, gift labels, fridge magnets, and/or a keyring.
All designs and order forms (with payment) are due no later than next Friday (8 November) for early December delivery!
